Welcome to the Comanche Page!

The Comanche are currently 6 Dads and 7 Girls Strong.
The Girls' average age is ~8years with the youngest being 4 and the oldest being 11.
We would love to have you come join us.
Just contact our Circle Navigator and start having fun with the Comanche today!

In August of 2006, the Comanche got together for a Circle activity that just can't be beat.  The girls spent a couple of hours creating posters for the upcoming Recruitment Night/Swim Party, then we were off to Laser Quest for a few exhilarating rounds of Laser Tag.  After a couple of hours of "free-for-all" Laser battle in the darkened mist filled multi-level maze with the music and our adrenaline pumping it was time for some well deserved pizza at the restaurant a few doors down.  There we all relaxed while we relived our recent battles and talked about our next activity.

We would highly recommend this as a great Circle activity.
Laser Quest is located on the SE corner of Baseline & Alma School.  Let us know if you plan on going and maybe the Comanche will join you for a round or two.  Have Fun!

The Comanche went on another really fun activity.  We went to the Coyote Den in Scottsdale for a few hours of Ice Skating in the desert and then, of course, pizza afterwards.

The 2006 Chandler Ostrich Parade was a washout.  After over 100 days of no rain, Mother Nature decided it would be fun to rain on our parade.  A few of the Comanche and a couple of Dads from the Sioux and the Anasazi showed up and stuck it out for a little over an hour or so hoping the rain would let up.  It didn't look like it was going to get any better and the Weather Man agreed so we finally decided to call it a day.  But, it really wasn't a total washout.  The girls did get to learn a little about commitment and about making tough decisions.  Besides, they got to spend some time playing in the rain with their Dads.  How often does that happen in the desert?  Hopefully, this year will be a little drier.

On the way back from Expedition camping trips,
the Comanche usually try to stop at other places around Arizona.
Here are just a few of the places that we've stopped at on the way home.

More pictures can always be found on our SmugMug site.

On the way back from Coup Camp in Longvalley, we stopped and got a tour of a real fire tower where we learned about forest fire prevention.
