The Zuni’s met on Sept 11, 2006. With 22 new members, the first order of business

was to make the necklace rounder’s. Here is what we did.

1) Come up with your princess name. We will use the example “Singing Butterfly”

2) Do a Google image search for “butterfly”

3) Refine your search by going into advanced options and choosing “black & white images”

4) Pick your favorite butterfly image and print it out sized to your 3in rounder

5) Tape the image on the rounder in the position you want.

6) Using a ball point pen, press hard along the outline of your butterfly.

6) Remove the paper image to reveal the impression of your butterfly

in the leather

7) With a soldering iron, trace your impressions carefully, burning in

the image permanently

8) Finish by hand writing “singing butterfly” with the soldering iron

Your piece is now ready for your necklace with a professional looking character image.
