Thanksgiving Turkey Toothpick Holder

(Wild Pinto and Soaring Eagle)
This craft is fun, and functional for the big Thanksgiving feast.
Material:
1 Small clay pot per person (available at most craft stores)
Googlie eyes, 2 per Turkey
Feathers, small, 4 per Turkey
Black, and yellow felt, 1 sheet each
Little wooden ice cream cup spoons
Brown and red paint
Tacky or hot glue
Toothpicks
Procedure:
1. Pre-paint the wooden spoon prior to meeting.
2. Pre-cut the black felt into little pilgrim hat shapes, these go on spoon.
3. Pre-cut the yellow felt into little squares for the buckle on the hat,
and little triangles for the nose/mouth of the turkey, these also go on spoon.
4. Pre-cut small pieces of felt to cover hole at bottom of pot, glue these in.
At meeting:
5. Paint the clay pot and set aside to dry.
6. Glue the hat, buckle and nose/mouth onto the fat end of the spoon.
7. Glue the googlie eyes on the spoon above the nose/mouth and below the hat.
8. Glue the feathers to the inside of the clay pot, sticking up over the edge.
9. Glue the spoon to the inside of the pot, at the back facing the front.
(the spoon is glued on top of the feathers)
10. Fill with toothpicks and your done.
